What we do with the details you send us, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are
BIM Performance [and your registered company name, if different] is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at info@bimperformance.co.uk or by post at [your business address].
What we collect
When you use the enquiry form we collect only what you type into it: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, the property postcode, the service you are interested in and your description of the project. Our hosting also records the IP address the message was sent from, which helps us deal with spam.
We do not use advertising cookies or third party analytics on this site. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and an icon stylesheet from jsDelivr, which means those providers see your IP address as part of serving the files.
Why we use it and on what basis
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quotation. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, or the steps leading up to a contract where you go ahead.
- To keep a record of the work we quoted and carried out, where we need it for our own legal and accounting obligations.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your details and we do not send marketing emails unless you have specifically asked us to.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry arrives as an email, so it sits with our hosting and email provider, Hostinger. If your project goes ahead, we may need to share relevant details with your local planning authority as part of an application, and with other consultants or your builder where you have asked us to work with them. We will tell you when that happens.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within [12 months]. Records relating to projects we have carried out are kept for [six years] to cover our legal, insurance and accounting obligations, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email info@bimperformance.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
